Temporary Worker will evaluate how herpes simplex virus glycoprotein length affects protein structure, function, and immunogenicity.

• Develop a model of the gC2/C3b complex interactions and molecular dynamics using Chimera, Alphafold and OpenMM computer programs. Validate model using pre-existing data.
• Evaluate gE/gI complexes from HSV1 and HSV2 as well as chimeras of these complexes by biosensor using monoclonal antibodies.
• Gather data for presentations.
• Develop conceptual ideas for the comparison of HSV glycoproteins.
• Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
