Regional Centers Academic Program Specialist

Job Description
Assist in the general operations and facilitation of all academic semester activities associated with credit courses and programs for the Office of Regional Centers and Online Programs. Coordinates and provides extensive administrative support to the Executive Director of Regional Centers and Online Programs and the departmental Business Manager.



Responsibilities

Create and/or manage course registration numbers for dual enrollment, as well as online and regional centers offered each semester.

Update class information, verify instructor assignments, and ensure timely reporting for THEC reporting.

Compile and analyze instructor data from various databases each semester.

Prepare and distribute faculty/adjunct overload pay and associated forms.

Facilitate the Occupational Licensure program: support and counsel enrolled and prospective students, assist with UTM application for admission, registration, payment, drop/add, withdrawals, refunds, and track student progression to program completion.

Execute and distribute course schedule SQL reports to assist directors with course verification and error resolution.

Maintain faculty records and ensure SACSOC compliance.

Perform additional duties for the Office of Regional Centers and Online Programs as needed.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

High school degree with three to four years of office experience

Bachelor's degree with one to two years of office experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills,

Proficiency in data management tools

Experience working for a higher education institution, campus operations, and/or student support.

Two years of experience directly related to the position requirements.
