This webinar will offer an insight into the various aspects of a job within the pharma/biotech segment, the different options that are available, how an industry job differs from academia and the mindset associated with the same. The audience will also have a flavor for what would make them best prepared towards making the switch for a career in industry.
Bio of the Speaker: Saurabh Sen, PhD is a research scientist with a domain expertise in Antibody Therapeutics, Proteomics, GPCRs and CNS disorder (Parkinson’s disease). Saurabh holds a PhD from the University of Helsinki, Finland and completed his postdoctoral research at Washington University School of Medicine at St. Louis and University of Alabama at Birmingham.
His first job at Lucigen Corporation was a direct translation of his PhD and postdoctoral research with a broader application to the field. In his current position at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc (BIPI), he is primarily working on engineering antibodies towards developing new drug for unmet medical needs. Saurabh aims at helping the scientific community through innovation, scientific break-through and knowledge sharing.
