Bio of the speaker:

Kate Sleeth has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Reading, UK. She has performed research at the Medical Research Council, the University of Sheffield, the University of Oxford and City of Hope. She is a previous member of the Board of Directors of the National Postdoctoral Association, having served as Chair of the Board, Oversight Officer and a member of the Executive Committee. Moving away from the bench led to administration, ultimately becoming an Associate Dean of Administration and Student Development. A desire to help more individuals has led to EduKatedSTEM where she provides career and professional development to those pursuing STEM careers.
